Small Screen

Meet Our Team

Prashant

Partner

Tech freak. Trek freak. Not a tik-tok freak, but otherwise loves (creating) all content equally. Be it for any screen size (there's not much difference in his surname Sareen and screen)! Truly loves the process of Filmmaking, from the storming of brains to the delivery of the master(piece). Graduated from Hindu, mastered film from Syracuse, earned his chops as a journalist and TV professional at Newstrack and Sony respectively. Mild mannered and gentle, but is known to "disagree" if you come in the way of his work.

Roopak

Partner

Globe trotter. Story plotter. No idea is too big, nor daunting. Loves the challenge of turning ideas into reality. Eclectic life experience. Born in Germany. Bred at The Doon School. Business admin studied at The University of Bath. Business acumen honed in Turkey, South Africa and Russia. Dream business started in India with like-minded creative minds. Driven equally by creativity as by creating value. Straightforward any way you look at him. Spell Roopak Kapoor backwards and see for yourself!

Vishal

Associate Partner

Structure from Kubrick, narration from Scorsese. Style from Tarantino, storytelling from Iñárritu. A cinema buff with the purpose of learning from the greats. Has a penchant for the visual spectacle (replace the 'h' in his name with a 'u'... what a coincidence!). His pilot's licence from back in the day may have expired, but he captains his crew with precision and passion. No detail is too small, nor is it ordinary. Seeks perfection and creativity in every aspect of life, be it making a meal or making a film. Skill and commitment have earned him a place at Small Screen's table. Ab big screen dur nahin!

Nishant

Creative Director

Loves all things green - from (green) screens to gardening. Loves to eat green too- a strict vegetarian. Be it a film or a plant he nurtures them with equal fervor and dedication. Trust him to keep calm( just like his name) through the madness of shoots and edits. What makes this director tick? A hot cup of coffee or an interesting idea. Preferably together.

Manika Parasher

Director of Content

Part writer, part fighter, this director of content is a kickboxing aficionado despite her belief in the might of the pen! Versatile at writing for any medium, though her writing is anything but medium. Loves all things content and reads more than she watches. Can often be found zoned out at her desk thinking of ideas or making Instagram reels during her breaks about all things weird and annoying.

Muskan

Director's Assistant

With a name symbolising joy and a voice that represents her love for singing, Muskan brings a mix of fun and drama to her work. As she dives into her pool of research, listening to tunes helps in keeping her afloat. As a Director's Assistant, she assists in the process of crafting cinematic pieces.

Ayush

Post-Production Supervisor

High on sugar and life, Ayush is a sincere and dedicated professional. With 5+ years of experience in film production, he knows how to convert terabytes of footage into engaging content.

Monika

Assistant Post Supervisor

Calm and composed on the outside, but equally curious and enthusiastic to learn something new. As an assistant post supervisor, she has her eye on every little detail. You might miss her as she sits quietly in a room full of people, with her pen, diary, and laptop, but she doesn't miss a thing!

Nikhil

Flying Producer

The one with oodles of ‘swag’. Unapologetic. The last one to enter a room. Well, mostly! Field producer and (accidental) drone pilot for Small Screen. Street smart. Loves listening to music. And his favourite singer is not Ashish.

Mehroz

Production Controller

Enthusiastic about shooting films and shooting on film. Just as his name originates from Iran, his affection for Iranian cinema knows no bounds, spanning from the works of Kiarostami to Makhmalbaf. By day, Mehroz operates as a Production Controller, a role that often seems to defy control itself. His daily routine involves a delicate balance of negotiations with vendors and meticulous orchestration of paperwork.

Rajender

DOP

Paragon of politeness. DOP par excellence. Lets his work do the talking. Loves painting with light. Known to the world as Raju. Nobody calls him Rajendra, not even the one who named him so.

Mohit

Senior Editor

Works wonders on the edit table. Pressing deadlines? He has got it all covered. Always fast and never furious.

Abhijeet

Senior Editor

Started out as an intern and climbed the ranks to become an editor. Enjoys pumping adrenaline on the edit table.

Rahaman

Editor

A seasoned editor, Rahaman has a sharp, no-nonsense work ethic that cuts through the noise like a hot knife through butter.

Rishav

Junior Editor

He may have a quiet demeanour, but Rishav lets his work do the talking. With an eye for detail, he can always be trusted on an edit.

Siddharth

Junior Editor

Started out as a theatre artist, ventured into screenwriting and is currently dabbling in editing. Loves to learn and experiment (as evidenced by his journey so far), but dedicates himself a hundred percent to whatever he takes up. An ambivert who prefers shuttle-smashing weekends over gym-sweating all week.

Himanshu

Motion GFX Artist

Creative thinker. Quiet creator. Quite creative. Speaks the language of design fluently.

Pradeep

Accountant

Checks cheques and balances balance sheets. Beware if you have not submitted your accounts on time or have an overdue payment. You may just receive a gentle reminder from this man!

Ruchin

Senior Accountant

With an eye for detail, this photographer is also an accountant. Creative accounting may be a bad word, but it's not his fault that he is a creative accountant. Focuses on every number through a macro lens.

Manoj

Sound Recordist

Wingman of Raju. Assistant cameraperson and sound recordist. Makes sure that everything sounds right on shoots. Dislikes – airplanes, dogs who bark incessantly, and noisy crews. Can be spotted shouting ‘Silence’ on shoots.

Shukla Ji

Cool Rider

Knows not only the ways on the street, but the ways of the street. Gets things done!

Pancham Ji

In Memoriam

Chief Security Officer, office administrator, film extra and so much more. Small Screen's first employee, built to last.

Balbir Ji

Keeper of Keys

The one who keeps the entire office going. His black coffee and chai-making skills are considered legendary and necessary to see everyone through the day. Quick with a smile and always ready to help, he's the Keeper Of Keys at Small Screen.

Reena Didi

The Office Maker

Keeps the office going. Prevents it from becoming a containment zone by sanitising every corner. Deadlines would not be met if she didn't make a mean coffee and serve it with a smile!
